Mindful Supplies Warranty & Return Terms
The following Warranty & Return Terms (“Terms”) apply to all products purchased through Mindful Postage and supplied under the Mindful Supplies brand. By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and accepts the policies outlined below. All timelines referenced begin from the original purchase date.
Limited Equipment Protection – Compatible Postage Meter Ink
Mindful Supplies guarantees that its compatible postage meter ink cartridges are manufactured to operate safely in supported mailing equipment when used according to normal operating guidelines.
If a customer believes a cartridge has caused damage to their mailing equipment, the following requirements must be met:
- The customer must provide written confirmation from a certified service technician stating that the damage was caused directly and exclusively by a defective Mindful Supplies cartridge.
- The documentation must appear on official company letterhead and include a clear explanation of the failure and supporting details.
Mindful Supplies reserves the right to request inspection of the cartridge and/or equipment prior to approving any claim.
If the claim is validated, Mindful Supplies may reimburse reasonable repair expenses related to the confirmed defect.
Mindful Supplies is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of productivity, labor costs, operational downtime, or lost revenue.
This protection applies only to Mindful Supplies branded compatible ink cartridges used in supported equipment as intended. It does not apply to damage caused by misuse, improper installation, unauthorized alterations, mixing with third-party ink products, or unrelated equipment malfunctions.
30-Day Return Policy – Unopened Merchandise
Customers may return unused and unopened products within thirty (30) days of the purchase date for a refund of the product cost.
Conditions for accepted returns:
- Items must remain sealed, unused, and in resalable condition
- Packaging must be intact and undamaged
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
Returns submitted outside the 30-day window or items not in resalable condition will not qualify for refunds.
Approved refunds are typically issued within one to two (1–2) business days after the returned items are received and inspected.
Printheads are not eligible under this return section.
60-Day Replacement Coverage – Items Damaged or Defective on Arrival
Products that arrive damaged or defective must be reported within sixty (60) days of the purchase date.
After verification, Mindful Supplies may provide a replacement product at its discretion.
In certain cases, a prepaid return label may be provided.
Replacement shipments are sent via standard shipping, unless expedited delivery was selected at checkout.
This policy does not apply to printheads.
180-Day Consumable Performance Coverage
If a consumable product stops functioning within one hundred eighty (180) days of the purchase date, customers may request evaluation for a prorated replacement or store credit based on the estimated remaining value of the product.
Customers must provide:
- Proof of purchase
- Description of product usage
- Documentation of the failure
The prorated value is determined by Mindful Supplies based on the remaining usable portion of the product.
Refunds are not issued under this provision.
This coverage applies only to consumable products and excludes equipment, machinery, and printheads.
Printhead Policy (Including Memjet Components)
Printheads are precision components that require proper handling and installation.
Once opened, printheads are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Claims for defective printheads must be submitted within sixty (60) days of purchase and must include written documentation from a certified technician confirming that the printhead was defective upon arrival.
The documentation must clearly explain the nature of the defect.
Failures caused by improper installation, incompatible supplies, environmental factors, equipment problems, misuse, or normal wear are not covered.
Reseller and Bulk Purchases
These Terms apply only to the original end-user purchaser.
Orders placed by resellers, bulk buyers (including discounted or volume purchases), or products sold through third-party marketplaces are considered final sale and are not eligible for returns, replacements, credits, or warranty claims.
Envelope Sealing Machines – Limited Coverage
Envelope sealing machines supplied by Mindful Supplies are reengineered units intended specifically for envelope sealing operations.
These machines include a six (6) month limited warranty from the original purchase date covering verified manufacturing defects.
Claims may require documentation and/or return of the unit for inspection before approval.
Machines that have been used or installed are not eligible for return or refund unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed under warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Improper use
- Installation errors
- Unauthorized modifications
- Operation outside intended sealing functions
- Normal wear
- External causes
Mindful Supplies is not responsible for installation costs, labor, downtime, or loss of business.
This warranty applies only to the sealing machine itself and does not extend to consumables such as cartridges or printheads.
Other Supply Products
Items such as tapes, sealing solutions, and similar supply products are eligible only under the 30-day unopened return policy, unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of purchase.
Limitation of Liability
Except where explicitly stated in these Terms, products are provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
In all cases, Mindful Supplies’ total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product involved in the claim.
To the extent permitted by law, Mindful Supplies disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
If any portion of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remainder will remain valid and enforceable.
